THE DOE STACKAS
 
The Doe Stackas, a duo of MCs from Hunting Park, which
is in North Philadelphia the group consist of T.D a.k.a
(The Million Dollar Man) and Frank Mula a.k.a (Mr. Mula)
they both stepped into hip hop scene watching acts such
as E.S.T, Beanie Sigel and many others which inspired
them to take there act from the block to put on stage
for the rest of the world to see what its like to be a
Doe Stacka.
T.D and Frank Mula met in the third grade and have since
forged a bond in the music game which has spanned almost
a decade. In 1997 they began as a trio, recording tracks
in their home studio and occasionally performing in
local shows, the trio streamlined to two members. The
duo hooked up with Eddie Hurk also from Hunting Park
that was partners with Dj Cory Ak in Bomb threat ENT.
Shortly after that the group became the driving force
behind Bomb threat creating an undeniable buzz on mix
tapes and throughout the industry.
With a resume to long to list, they have worked with
artist such as CAMRON, RAEKWON, FREEWAY and other well
known talents in the music industry. With a strong buzz
the fan base soon left Philly and the group began moving
up and down the east coast. Their popularity increased
with the release of Everywhere We Go, the groups first
single which climbed to the sixth spot on Power 99s
countdown, as well as receiving heavy rotation on Hot 97
NY and Miamis WEDR 99. Supporting this buzz with
appearances at nightclubs and national tours with Funk
Master Flex, attention from the media was inevitable.
The Source Magazine, Phillys Television shows Urban
Expressions, VTV, and Hot 97 in New York all hosted
interviews further expanding their audience and the
demand for a full-length album.
After severing ties With Cory Ak in 2001, they spent the
last few years working with Allen Iversons Cru Thik /
A.B.K Music Group grooming artists and putting together
a label, but recently split due to a conflict of
interest. With another new year approaching, their
business in order and a lifetime of business under their
belt, the diamond in the rough is now polished and its
time for the masses to know what its like to be a Doe
Stacka.
